Welcome to the website. My name is Tim Sturtridge and I am a sports journalist working out of my base in Buenos Aires. I have a BA (Hons) Journalism degree from UCLAN with NCTJ accreditation. On finishing my degree I worked in London including stints on the sports pages of The Guardian and The Independent.

I have lived in Argentina for over a year now and currently work freelance for a number of media outlets. I am the South American correspondent for Goal.com among other websites. I also report for Red Bull on the company’s sporting interests in the region. I was embedded with the VW Red Bull team in the 2010 Dakar Rally as it weaved through Argentina and Chile, filing video and copy covering the race.

Recently I have been sharing my views on football in South America on radio shows such as BBC Radio Five Live’s World Football Phone-in.
